Development and investment

Aedes Real Estate bought the building in January 2003. The building served as a daycare center Huize Henriëtte, the oldest daycare center in Amsterdam. After closing the daycare, construction started in 2017 on 8 rental properties in the highest segment. Interior architect Roelfien Vos opts for 19th-century inspiration. Green shades are combined with marble finishes and wooden floors. The houses are extremely energy efficient (isolation and heat recovery) and prepared for the future (gasless).
